Job Summary The Store Manager is responsible for supporting merchandising, operational, and human resources functions within an individual store to achieve or exceed sales and profit goals. This role requires a proactive and vigilant individual who will stay highly engaged with customers, demonstrate integrity, communicate effectively, and work well in a dynamic retail environment. The Store Manager also plays a key role in fostering a positive work culture, encouraging employee involvement, and supporting change management within the organization. Duties/Responsibilities Recruit, interview, hire, counsel, and manage termination processes, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to internal policies. Maintain financial controls, including managing shrinkage, payroll, and operating expenses. Oversee inventory controls, facilitate transactions, and ensure compliance with shrink standards. Monitor sales activities to ensure excellent customer service. Supervise staff engaged in sales, inventory management, cash reconciliation, and customer service. Ensure staff compliance with Citi Trends policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work nights and weekends. Proficiency in mathematical calculations including percentages.

Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of retail experience as a Store Manager. Overall 5-7 years of retail experience.

Physical Requirements Ability to work 45 hours per week and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and manual dexterity, with or without accommodations.
