What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies? Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.) Ensure all team members provide excellent customer service and upsell effectively Desired skills/experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store Experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly staff Point of Sale (POS) systems experience Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems Availability to work a 4-5 day week with 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun) Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S. Salary: $20 - $22 per hour About us: Insomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm by Seth Berkowitz.
