Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Location: Knoxville, TN Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Responsibilities Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP standards Compound testosterone formulations with a seed oil base, GLP-1s, and cyclosporine Maintain a clean and organized compounding environment through routine cleaning and disinfection Accurately document compounding activities including batch records, cleaning logs, and quality control checks Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs Assist with inventory management including receiving, labeling, and storing supplies Required Skills and Qualifications Familiarity with USP compliance Sterile compounding experience preferred PTCB certification preferred Tennessee pharmacy technician registration preferred Interest or experience in leadership roles is a plus Experience compounding multiple drug types preferred Work Environment Fast-paced first-shift schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM 5,000 sq ft facility with a 4,000 sq ft expansion underway Team includes six pharmacists and a total staff of 30 Six sterile hoods currently in use, with eight more planned Significant opportunity for advancement in a rapidly expanding pharmacy Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
