Starting hourly rate: $20.00 USD per hour.

All about food & beverage: The food & beverage team ensures product freshness, stock, availability, and accurate pricing and signage on the sales floor. This team manages food services, replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing for all food and beverage areas in the store.

At Target, as a Starbucks barista, no two days are ever the same. A typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

• Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by prioritizing guest needs over tasks.
• Uphold and maintain food & beverage standards and execute food & beverage processes.
• Always be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks.
• Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience for guests.
• Support the Starbucks Drive-Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout the shift.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards.
• Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards.

• Are open to working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times.
• Previous Starbucks or food service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Have a welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Can communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
• Can work both independently and as a team member.
• Can resolve guest questions quickly.
• Pay attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Can remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Additional requirements for our team:

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 4 pounds.
• Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in temperature ranges from 34F to -10F as needed.
• Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present.
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
