Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel-level Labor & Employment Attorney to join its nationally recognized Labor Relations Practice. This position may be based out of any of the firm’s national offices. Position Overview The firm is seeking a skilled and strategic attorney with 6+ years of experience advising employers on traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and union avoidance strategies.
The ideal candidate will have:
Deep knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
Experience managing union organizing campaigns, grievance arbitrations, and board proceedings
Familiarity with high-stakes OSHA issues is a plus
Excellent client service and case management skills
Candidate Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of intended practice
Strong academic credentials
Outstanding legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to handle complex matters independently and as part of a team
Collaborative mindset and interest in helping grow a national labor practice
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range : $275,000–$385,000 (based on experience and title)
