A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Ventura, CA, providing essential support within a school setting. This role is perfect for licensed professionals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology who are passionate about making a positive impact on student communication and learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Monitor and document student progress while adjusting therapy goals accordingly
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with school and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorder assessment and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage caseload and maintain detailed records in compliance with educational regulations
