A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students in a school setting. This role is based in Newbury Park, CA, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's communication skills and academic success. Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals. * Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. * Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines. * Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
* Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. * Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting. * Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders. * Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff. * Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs. * Appropriate state licensure to practice in California.
