You'll own the full lifecycle of our solar service work from generating leads and writing quotes to scheduling jobs and directing technicians in the field each day. This is a dynamic role that blends outside sales, customer relationship management, and hands-on operational coordination. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love solving problems, and want to see the direct results of your work, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & EstimatingProspect for and develop new solar service business through referrals, realtor partnerships, roofing contractors, and inbound leadsConduct site visits and system assessments to scope service needsPrepare accurate, professional quotes for all service work, including: panel and system removal & reinstallation (R&R) for roofing projects, system troubleshooting and diagnostics, inverter, panel, and component repairs, battery storage additions (e.g., Enphase, Tesla Powerwall, Franklin), system expansions and panel add-ons, and real estate solar inspection reports and production summaries for home salesFollow up on open proposals and close service agreementsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with roofing companies, real estate agents, and existing customersCoordination & SchedulingSchedule and dispatch technicians for all service calls and project workCreate and manage work orders, ensuring technicians have the parts, equipment, and information needed before arriving on siteCoordinate material procurement and manage parts inventoryCommunicate proactively with customers regarding scheduling, job status, and completionTrack job progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within scopeTechnician DirectionProvide daily direction and oversight to solar service techniciansConduct morning briefings and end-of-day check-insReview job quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfactionHelp identify training needs and support technician developmentFoster a positive, accountable team culture in the fieldReporting & AdministrationMaintain accurate records in [CRM/field service software, e.g., Salesforce, ServiceTitan, Solargraf]Track job costs, margins, and department revenue in coordination with leadershipReport on key metrics: quote volume, close rate, revenue, and job completion timesAssist with warranty claims, utility interconnection coordination, and permit documentation as neededQualificationsRequired 2+ years of experience in the solar industry (service, installation, or sales)Strong understanding of residential solar PV systems, inverters, and monitoring platforms (Enphase, SolarEdge, SMA, etc.)Proven ability to read and produce quotes or proposalsExcellent communication and customer relationship skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneouslyValid driver's license and clean driving recordPreferredExperience directing or coordinating field crews or service techniciansFamiliarity with battery storage systems (Enphase IQ, Powerwall, etc.)Experience with real estate solar disclosure reports or pre-sale inspectionsProficiency with field service or CRM softwareWhat We OfferBase Salary: $60k Base + CommissionPerformance Compensation: Potential for bonus based on achieving growth targets and operational milestonesBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; PTO; mileage reimbursement for field travelProfessional Development: Support for certifications, training, and industry conferences as you grow in the rolePI2bcf8b563d92-26289-40124432
