Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk where you will manage daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring efficient processing, scanning, and labeling of packages. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for logistics and a desire to grow within a company.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Process, scan, and label packages using UPS and FEDEX software.
• Enter data into ERP and shipping systems.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.

Essential Skills

• Documented experience in shipping, specifically using UPS and FEDEX software.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle up to 50lbs and physically manage boxes in racking using rolling ladders.
• High attention to detail and a good attendance history.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operations.
• Experience in a fast-paced, industrial, or warehouse environment.

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, clean shop environment that, while not temperature controlled, provides fans for comfort during the summer months. The position is based on the 1st Shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with hours that may vary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
