Service Tech, Onsite Endoscopic Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Service Tech to provide on-site support for our medical devices, including hand instruments and video equipment, to healthcare clients. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Sterile Processing Departments and Operating Room teams to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on OR1 systems and equipment Provide in-service training to clients on system use, care, and handling Manage repair and replacement expenses within budget Troubleshoot video and instrument issues in the O.R. Inspect and maintain instrument functionality Continuously improve knowledge and skills to support OR1 integration products and advancements in instrumentation and equipment
Requirements: 2 or more years of relevant work experience High school diploma or GED Excellent written and spoken English language business communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative, service-oriented team environment Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree or relevant certifications (CRCST or similar) Working knowledge of AV programming, system design, and image routing Experience with hospital-based Electronic Medical Record systems (EMR) Experience with major AV manufacturers' components Who We Are: KARL STORZ is an independent, family-owned company headquartered in Germany's renowned MedTech manufacturing region.
