Montgomery Dealership is seeking a Service Manager to join their team!!!

Company offers great pay and robust benefits.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 07:30 am - 05:30 pm, Saturday, 08:00 am to 12:00 pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop service advisors, technicians, porters, and support staff.
  • Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable to productivity, quality, and CSI standards.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and performance reviews.
    • Oversee daily service operations, including work scheduling, dispatch, and repair quality control.
      • Maintain service department compliance with warranty and policy requirements.
      • Ensure all customer repair orders are documented accurately and closed promptly.
      • Manage service loaner fleet in line with manufacturer utilization requirements.
      • Implement and maintain systems for proper work flow, shop safety, and cleanliness.
      • Address escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally, with the goal of resolution and retention.

      • Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed service department revenue, gross profit, and expense control objectives.
      • Monitor and manage department budgets, labor rates, and parts margins.
      • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
      • Control warranty claim submissions, approvals, and resubmissions to protect dealership revenue.
      • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
        • Audit repair orders, warranty submissions, and loaner agreements for accuracy and policy compliance.

        REQUIREMENTS

        • Minimum 5 years of automotive service management experience
        • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding service department revenue, profitability, and CSI goals.
        • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
        • Deep knowledge of dealership service operations, warranty administration, and technician workflow management.
        • Proficiency with DMS systems (CDK preferred) and manufacturer service portals
