Iowa Athletic Club is a sports bar and made-from-scratch restaurant located in the Iowa River Landing in Coralville, IA. Right next to the Xtream Arena.

We’re gearing up for a busy football season and are currently hiring full-time and part-time servers to join our growing team! We’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

Pay: $4.35 per hour + Tips paid out nightly.

Schedule: Full or part-time schedule. Weekend availability is a must.

Job Description:

• Take food & beverage orders from customers and serve food & drinks as requested
• Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patron
• Keep restaurant & bar area clean, safe, and organized
• Mix drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
• Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
• Monitor all patrons for alcohol intake to appropriate levels
• Assist in ensuring patrons have a safe ride home, calling a taxi or Uber when appropriate
• Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
• Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
• Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies
• Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass the IOWA Program for Alcohol Compliance Training
