This woman-owned business serving New York City for over four decades has evolved from a waitress staffing agency to the leading catering, events, and hospitality companies in the greater New York area. We provide food services in an array of celebrated New York City cultural institutions including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Wave Hill, and The Apollo Theater. We are known for full-service catering and events, corporate workplace dining and amenity programs, and large-scale event and festival production. Great Performances is the nation’s first caterer to own and operate an organic farm, Katchkie Farm, located in Kinderhook, NY. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Anticipates guest needs and derives satisfaction from providing excellent customer.

• Excel in a fast-paced and stressful environment
• Possess knowledge of basic mixed cocktails, beer, and wine
• Stock, set up, and break down of the concessions area according to standard operations.
• Possess strong barista knowledge and capabilities (cappuccinos, lattes, cortados, macchiatos, Chai lattes, Matcha lattes, flat whites, etc.
• Ensure par levels are accurate for all products at your designated bar station.
• Follow opening and closing checklists.
• Maintain excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Professional handling and communication of customer complaints
• Ability to work well in a team environment and be self-sufficient and comfortable working without immediate supervision in some cases.
• Consistent standing throughout shift
• Adheres to all food safety policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• At least One Year of NYC Bartending and Serving.
• Customer Service experience.
• Accurate cash handling and POS experience.
• Organized, detailed oriented, reliable, and professional.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Repetitive lifting and reaching with hands and arms.
• Ability to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner.
• NYC’s Food Handlers Certificate is a plus
• Barista experience is a must

Schedule: Flexible Part-time Thursday-Sunday
