POSITION OBJECTIVE Assists the Servers in the service of food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assists in the table cleaning and setting of tables. Runs food from the kitchen to guests tables. Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant in all areas. Responsible for complying with all workplace health and safety requirements, including department-specific training regarding equipment and procedures. In addition to the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time dedicated to each function determined by the manager based on the Resort's requirements: Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning spills and executing special guest requests. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED). REQUIREMENTS Must be able to speak and understand English. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Most work tasks are performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment; however, must be able to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10F) and kitchens (+110F), possibly for an hour or more. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for several hours. Must be able to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to work effectively under stress, communicate with others, deal with customers, and accept constructive criticism from supervisors. Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
