Senior Underwriter, Retail Excess Casualty

Responsibilities
include but not limited to:
• Marketing and underwriting Excess Casualty business
• Exposure identification for a wide variety of business types
• Contract analysis
• Adhering to underwriting rules and guidelines
• Developing and maintaining relationships with brokers to facilitate a flow of desirable new business and to maintain renewal business via quality service
• Collaborating with other product lines to provide full product support to the client
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or above and/or insurance certifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting casualty business
Knowledge, Skills &petencies:
• Demonstrated ability to generate profitable new business
• Strong relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical,munication, andputer skills
• Ability to successfullyplete multiple tasks concurrently within a fast-paced, team-oriented, working environment
• Customer-oriented approach
For IL Only: The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $138,000 annually. The offered rate ofpensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications, and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
