Senior Server Administrator - Windows Server

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Senior Server Administrator for an onsite opportunity in Columbia, SC. This enterprise Windows Server team supports over 2000+ servers which run primarily as virtual servers on VMware but also includes physical servers.

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
• Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree, or 4 years of job related work experience, or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.
• 5 years-of experience working in infrastructure/server environments performing monitoring (hardware and/or software) and implementations and a solid understanding of server hardware and software (Windows Server, x86).

Nice To Have:

• VMware or Hyper-V, Network technologies

Responsibilities:

• Support Windows Server OS and hardware including advanced troubleshooting, software installations, and end user support.
• The Windows Server team supports over 2000 servers which run primarily as virtual servers on VMware but also includes physical servers.
