Duration: 18 months+ Contract Compensation: $75.00 - $85.00/hour Work Requirements: Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Program Overview Our government client is undertaking a multi-year transformation of its systems, environment, and business structure, focusing on an online strategy and customer-centric model. The program includes six key initiatives with phased implementation through June 2029, building a new system using Salesforce integrated with other technologies. Responsibilities Provide leadership to developers, supporting complex solutions built on Salesforce, Mulesoft, and AWS. Guide problem definition, root cause analysis, and solutioning. Manage team velocity, staffing, and development, adapting to new technologies and escalations. Partner with Product and Solution Owners to understand requirements. Lead design and code reviews, ensuring quality and privacy protections. Apply Agile, DevOps, and engineering best practices, with technical depth in Salesforce, AWS, and Mulesoft. Lead a team delivering tickets related to defects, enhancements, security, and privacy. Specific Responsibilities Manage technical delivery of Salesforce custom development, integrations, and data migration. Define requirements, set expectations, and translate business needs into solutions. Lead technical design sessions and document solutions. Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure quality. Required Qualifications Experience architecting Salesforce and cross-platform solutions. Expertise in Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds. Understanding of system architecture, scalability, and security. Knowledge of design patterns, data volume limitations, and platform security. Familiarity with authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth). Experience with environment and release management, DevOps, and deployment. Background in large web-based or client-server systems development. Object-oriented analysis, database design, and guiding project teams. Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (PD1) and Experience Cloud Consultant certifications. Proficiency in Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, SLDS, Bootstrap, Material Design. Experience with Salesforce CLI, SOSL, SOQL, web services, Experience Builder. Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications Platform Developer II (PD2), JavaScript certifications.
