Sr. Recruiter - eric@wideeffect.com - Lover of Video… *Relocation Assistance is Available for this Position* Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison with the customer, managing all aspects of ship repair contracts from inception to completion Lead and supervise the project management team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer expectations Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, including scope changes, timelines, and budget Conduct and facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders, including executive leadership, subcontractors, and clients (e.g., progress updates, production meetings, formal reviews) Interpret and apply complex technical documentation such as NAVSEA Standard Items, blueprints, diagrams, test procedures, and engineering manuals Manage risk, project performance metrics, and change orders to maintain schedule and budget control Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Minimum of 10 years experience in the ship repair or marine industry Minimum of 5 years experience in a project management role, ideally involving federal contracts Strong understanding of government contracting and federal acquisition processes Familiarity with Navy Work Authorization Forms (WAF), tag-out procedures, and shipboard safety protocols Experience onboard ships and with marine systems and equipment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project scheduling software (Microsoft Project or equivalent) Solid grasp of project management principles including scheduling, sequencing, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and performance tracking Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for base access due to federal security requirements Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) credential Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Project Management Industries Shipbuilding and Maritime Transportation Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Wide Effect Talent Solutions by 2x Get notified about new Project Manager jobs in Hawaii, United States .
