The position is based in Boston, requiring 3 days/week onsite; remote candidates are not accepted at this time. About This Team Klaviyo’s messaging platform handles billions of emails, SMS, and push notifications daily. You will work with talented teams to enhance platform scalability and add new messaging channels. Role Responsibilities Lead messaging lifecycle understanding across all channels. Develop a feature roadmap aligning business and technical needs. Represent the Unified Channels Platform, maintaining documentation and communicating constraints. Improve Klaviyo’s Engagement Tracking service and address non-human interactions. Identify and resolve messaging pipeline bottlenecks. Own Klaviyo’s Smart Sending features, collaborating with Data Science. Standardize messaging patterns and partner with teams for onboarding new channels. Ideal Candidate Profile 5+ years in SaaS product management, with messaging ecosystem experience. Experience with customer-facing and backend systems requirements. Knowledge of message throughput constraints and API design. Proven ability to coordinate across teams and manage high-priority projects. Experience with data science collaboration and messaging analytics. Strong communication skills, system thinking, and teamwork orientation. Preferred Qualifications Experience scaling messaging platforms, especially owned channels like Email, SMS, Push. Experience with related messaging channels and API development. Knowledge of webhook-driven reporting and engagement tracking. Additional Information Salary range: $140,000—$210,000 USD. Benefits include bonuses, equity, health coverage, and more.
