Senior Manager, U.S. Business Development

Our client, a leader in petroleum POS solutions, is expanding into the U.S. We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development to lead U.S. market penetration, reporting directly to the Commercial Senior Director and dotted-line to the Sales Director. This is a true ground-up business development role focused on go-to-market strategy, value proposition development, and high-impact sales execution across retail, fuel, and convenience sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own and execute the U.S. go-to-market strategy for POS
• Prospect, pitch, and build relationships with distributors, independent retailers, and oil majors
• Communicate and sell to IT leaders in the petroleum and retail sectors
• Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and Canadian HQ teams to ensure market alignment
• Educate distributor networks on Bulloch’s value and drive product adoption
• Travel nationally as needed (mainly Central and Eastern U.S.)

Skills and Requirements
• 7–10+ years in POS, payments, or retail tech business development or sales
• Experience selling software or enterprise solutions into retail or fuel markets
• Deep understanding of distributor channels, oil companies, and independent retailers
• Ability to navigate complex buyer structures and articulate product-market fit
• Comfortable engaging with both single-site retailers and large enterprise clients (e.g., ExxonMobil IT teams)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. • Previous experience at a POS/payment tech company a big plus null
