We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Retail Analytics to lead our Analytics and Business Intelligence teams to deliver impactful insights that drive business decisions. This role will be responsible for overseeing promotional analysis, pricing and cost analysis, market testing, and leveraging Power BI for advanced data visualization and reporting. Experience with AI-driven analytics/machine learning is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, deep expertise in retail analytics, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promotional Effectiveness & Optimization
Analyze historical and in-flight promotional performance across categories and channels
Identify profitable promotional strategies, cannibalization effects, and elasticity drivers
Recommend data-driven promotional calendar and offer designs
Pricing Strategy & Competitive Intelligence
Conduct ongoing analysis of competitive pricing trends and market positioning
Partner with Category Management to recommend price changes that balance competitiveness and margin
Support A/B and multivariate pricing tests, including markdown strategies
Cost & Margin Analysis
Evaluate cost-of-goods changes and their downstream impact on pricing, margin, and profitability
Support vendor negotiations with data on cost drivers and profitability thresholds
Predictive Modeling & Advanced Analytics
Build and maintain forecasting models to support sales, margin, and customer behavior predictions
Use machine learning or statistical methods to identify patterns and forecast retail KPIs
Translate model outcomes into actionable insights for senior leadership
Cross-Functional Insights Leadership
Present analytical findings to senior executives with clarity, business relevance, and recommendations
Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, E-Com, and Store Ops on scenario modeling and performance tracking
Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI or other platforms
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a team of analysts to ensure quality, timeliness, and impact of deliverables
Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and analytical excellence

Hybrid work environment, 3 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to remote work.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in retail analytics, pricing analysis, or a similar field.
Expertise in promotional analysis, pricing strategies, and cost analysis within a retail environment.
Experience in working with large datasets and various analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or R is a plus).
Advanced proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization
Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights to stakeholders.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI-driven analytics and its application in retail decision-making.
Familiarity with machine learning models for demand forecasting and customer segmentation.
Retail industry experience, preferably in specialty supplements or related sectors.
