Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to spearhead and expand our electrical design capabilities in the Baltimore region. This is a leadership-track role for someone who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and is eager to build and mentor a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing building systems for institutional clients, possess strong technical and project leadership skills, and be able to obtain security clearance.
Responsibilities: · Lead electrical design projects across lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom, and security. · Perform code compliance analysis, load calculations, and system documentation. · Create detailed design deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD. · Manage project teams and coordinate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary engineers. · Provide QA/QC oversight and mentor junior staff. · Support business development by cultivating client relationships and pursuing new project opportunities.
Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related). · Active PE license. · Minimum years of electrical building systems design experience. · Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office. · Experience in institutional sectors (government, healthcare, higher ed). · Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines for building systems. · US Citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance (required). · LEED or CEM credentials a plus.
