Senior Construction Project Manager (Facilities Asset Management) Job at The Walt Disney Company, Anaheim, CA OEVaN01COXNJUkpRY1BaUU84bWVaQlJwaWc9PQ== The Walt Disney Company Job Description As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring that all assigned projects are properly scoped, designed, and executed with a focus on strict scope, budget, and schedule control. You will manage the implementation of assigned projects, perform responsibilities according to established operating procedures, and actively participate in improving these processes. The objective is to manage each project from inception to completion, aiming to finish within approved budgets and schedules, delivering high quality efficiently. You will report to the Senior Program Manager. You Will: SAFETY: Manage overall project safety, approve contractor safety plans, and ensure compliance with OSHA, corporate, and FAM SOGs. PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT: Oversee project development, planning, execution, and closeout, including design, budget, cash flow, and file maintenance. TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION: Assemble and oversee project teams, ensuring integrated efforts to meet project goals. CONTRACT DEVELOPMENT: Support contract administration, scope of work, bid items, and operational constraints. PROJECT SCHEDULE: Manage schedules, identify critical tasks, and ensure timely completion. CLIENT COMMUNICATION: Coordinate with partners, clients, and management on project status, schedule, and impacts. TECHNICAL COMPETENCY: Use construction management software, Microsoft Office, and project systems daily. PROCESS MANAGEMENT: Handle change orders, update budgets, and forecast costs based on project trends. You Have: Six years of project/construction management experience in hospitality, commercial, or industrial sectors. Knowledge of project management processes, managing portfolios over $10M annually. Understanding of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management. Familiarity with construction materials, methods, codes (UBC, NEC, UFC). Ability to prepare management presentations and demonstrate attention to detail. Leadership experience, including mentoring early-career managers. Risk identification and mitigation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing projects within a Theme Park environment. Education: BA/BS in project/construction management or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 2 years of college plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
