Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team as a Senior Cloud Architect specializing in Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). As a key player in the pre-sales process, you'll provide invaluable technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer's cloud journey. You will be responsible for creating and leading solution designs that effectively address Customer Business Outcomes (CBOs). Acting as a bridge between ProServe Account Executives and our Shared Delivery Teams (SDT), you will ensure that proposed solutions are not only realistic and achievable but also optimized for maximum impact. Your expertise will establish you as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions that tackle their most pressing challenges. This role requires you to share your knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable resources. Your successful performance will be closely linked to influencing the signing of Statements of Work (SOWs) and implementing solutions that achieve CBOs while surpassing customer satisfaction (CSAT) expectations. Key Responsibilities: Design complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to drive customer business outcomes. Provide technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases. Collaborate with Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure solutions are achievable. Serve as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years in cloud architecture and cloud solution implementation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience delivering at least 3 enterprise solutions serving over 10,000 users in the retail, CPG, or restaurant sectors in the last 5 years. Experience leading the technical implementation of 3 retail platforms handling over 50,000 daily transactions. Engagement in 3+ enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives with C-level stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications. Deep understanding of AWS services, security, and compliance standards. Good communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
