This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with principal AI architects, data scientists, and engineers to maintain a robust and secure technical foundation for clients ranging from small biotech firms to large pharmaceutical companies.
Role Overview This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week or 12 days per month in our Atlanta office.
Required Qualifications Ph.D. in data science, biostatistics, or related quantitative fields
Over 3 years of experience in clinical drug development with substantial exposure to clinical trials
Deep understanding of statistical methods such as time-to-event analysis, machine learning, meta-analysis, mixed-effect modeling, longitudinal modeling, Bayesian methods, variable selection techniques (e.g., lasso, elastic net, random forest), and clinical trial design
Proficiency in R and Python, with demonstrated skills in data visualization, exploratory analysis, and predictive modeling
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to create and deliver clear presentations for internal and external stakeholders in decision-making contexts
Responsibilities Develop and implement data science methodologies for biomedical data analysis, interpretation, ingestion, and statistical analysis across disciplines
Integrate data science and AI expertise with biological or medical knowledge to enhance drug development processes through medical writing, collaborating closely with internal SMEs and external clients
Plan, execute, interpret, validate, and communicate exploratory analyses and algorithms to support internal decision-making
Provide technical expertise in data science and machine learning/AI to identify opportunities influencing decision processes and contribute to discussions on white papers and regulatory policies
Perform hands-on analysis of integrated clinical and real-world data
