Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Compensation Base Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 (Rockstar could get $100,000 plus)

What Does a Sr. Accountant Do? Work to streamline processes for better efficiency, documenting policies, procedures, and training documents.
Prepare journal entries, maintain records, and reconcile accounts in accordance with GAAP.
Work with store locations to help in recording activity that impacts the general ledger.
Prepare documentation and support for external auditors and tax specialists.
Record fixed asset transactions in Sage and reconcile to general ledger.
Record payroll activity and reconcile to HRIS (i.e. ADP).
Assist with month end close, acquisition and other accounting tasks as required.
Assist as needed on ad-hoc projects.
Additional duties, as assigned.
What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Sr. Accountant? Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
6+ years of experience in accounting; retail accounting experience preferred; multi-location experience a plus; at least 1 year in a senior accounting role
Experience with inventory
Experience with prepaid assets, fixed assets, and accruals
Knowledge of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of US GAAP
Strong analytical skills and initiative toward problem resolution; ability to prepare backup necessary to satisfy management needs and audit inquiries.
Proficient Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Well-organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to adhere to schedules and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
Ability to work with all levels of an organization
Team player with a roll-up your sleeves attitude - comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
