Security Relief Supervisor

Manages the administrative functions of the department on assigned shift.

Assigns and schedules the Security staff to provide optimum security for Harrah's guests, employees, and assets.

Directs all Harrah's employees in emergency situations.

Approves or initiates arrests and 86's on assigned shift.

Conducts training on assigned shift.

Maintain sufficient awareness of Compact requirements and company policies to ensure effective compliance.

Security Relief Supervisors are to provide medical assistance, without hesitation, following proper procedures and techniques as a "First Responder" to persons in need, including "First Aid" and "CPR," when necessary.

Assists all Shift Supervisors with ensuring all required training is completed on time.

Report any employee issues that require Coaching & Counseling to the Shift Supervisor or Security Manager.

Must be able to perform the duties of Security Officer and Lead Security Officer.

Ensures the delivery of great customer service through the demonstration and utilization of the Spotlight 5 skills program.

Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with Company Policies.

Perform other duties as assigned by Security Supervisor or Manager.

High School Diploma or GED required.

One year experience as Lead Officer or similar supervisory experience or equivalent Law enforcement experience preferred.

Literacy and fluency in English.

Must be able to teach, develop, motivate and lead.

Must be able to move about the casino quickly.

Excellent Communication skills.

Must be available to work any shift.

Excellent Report Writing skills.

Ability to obtain a license from the Arizona Dept. of Gaming (ADOG) and the Ak-Chin Tribal Gaming Agency.

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

Acts as a role model to all Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.

Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.

Must pass the physical testing of CPR training.

Auditory and visual fields must include immediate environment.

Ability to move quickly in response to emergency situations.

Ability to deal with violent situations by verbally defusing them or by physically restraining a violent person.

Must be able to bend, lift up to 45 lbs. and to carry the weight up to 20 feet.

Must be able to walk/stand up to 8+ hours per day.

Preference is given to Ak-Chin community members and members of other recognized Arizona tribes.
