As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What Youll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly flow of people within the location. Support emergency response activities as required, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with emergency services when necessary. Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
