Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific procedures. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to clients and visitors. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
