As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry. Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with security-related tasks as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to clients and visitors. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
