As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What Youll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures. Assist in directing visitors and/or customers and provide information as needed. Work closely with site management and/or local authorities during incidents or emergency situations. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activities in the retail or mall environment. What Were Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid drivers license is required for driving positions, and applicants must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
