As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a busy retail environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:00 PM - 11:30 PMWed12:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur12:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain authorized entry to the location. Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or unauthorized activities within the retail setting. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
