As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence at a busy retail location. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including interior and exterior perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide assistance as needed to staff and patrons.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
Document and report any suspicious behavior, incidents, or policy violations according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents.
Carry and maintain assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies, remaining compliant with all training and licensing requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas.
Customer service experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
