As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site procedures. Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or the public while maintaining a visible presence. Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site-specific guidelines. Document incidents, observations, and/or activities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client records. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions. An armed guard card or license is preferred.
