JOB SUMMARY:
The Security Officer provides services for our Club Members and guests by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES and otherduties as may be assigned related to this position.
Conducts at least five security checks (fire, structural, grounds) of all locations throughout the property during the shift.
Conducts a search of all specified locations for complete lockdown at the beginning of the shift or as soon as possible
Uses HotSos to report any maintenance issues
Checks e-mail and security box for pertinent information updates.
Checks dormitories for problems.
Cooperates with police on any matter that is beyond authority to handle.
Updates Human Resources, Maintenance department, and any other pertinent department on the various happenings through security report e-mail or verbal communication of important events during the night.
Maintains a neat professional appearance with nametags and uniforms throughout the shift.
Other duties may include accompanying late-night guests to their rooms, room service and helping resident employees into their rooms when they have locked themselves out.
Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. One or two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous security experience is preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Driver's License. Basic First Aid/CPR certified preferred.
