As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a bustling retail or mall location. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed. Support emergency response efforts by following site protocols and assisting first responders when required. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
