Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun11:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly environment within the retail location. Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any potential issues related to merchandise or property. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related needs and provide a welcoming environment for all patrons. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
