As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a bustling retail location. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the retail environment. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any unusual behavior or incidents. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a valid driver's license for more than 1 year.
