The Scorekeeper & Arena Attendant  position reports directly to the Hockey Program Manager and while scorekeeping is responsible for operating the scoreboard and tracking and recording goals, shots, and penalties on a paper or online scoresheet during hockey league games. In addition, scorekeepers are expected to use a supplied tablet to play music at stoppages in play and between games. The scorekeeper will also be required to work alongside our ice resurfacing team by moving the nets for ice cuts following each game. Arena attendant shifts will be responsible for monitoring and assisting customers, ensures a safe skating manner, along with issuing skates and advising proper fit/size. This position will interact with parents, players, guests, coaches, referees, hockey directors and team captains and requires the ability to communicate with a focus on delivering a world class hockey and skating experience. This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-17.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until October 10, 2025. Use of control board for scoreboard Communicate with the on ice officials to start, operate, and record a hockey game Maintain a legible, concise, and accurate scoresheet Provide accurate stats to league statistician Check players in by number and/or name on the scoresheet Assist our ice resurfacing team by moving the nets for ice cuts following each game Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of area Positively interacts with all departments: Referees, Players, Coworkers and guests of the facility Appropriately safeguard company property, access, and assets Monitor and assist skating customers Serve as first point of contact in case of injury Ineracts and welcomes customers, issues skates, advises proper fit and lacing techniques Other duties as assigned
