Pathway Caring for Children is hiring a School-Based Mental Health Therapist or Counselor (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) to support students at Beacon Academy in Canton, Ohio. This is a meaningful opportunity for a behavioral health professional who is passionate about providing counseling and mental health support to children and adolescents in educational settings.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Provide individual and group therapy services to students - Offer trauma-informed crisis intervention and behavioral health support - Collaborate with school staff and families to develop individualized treatment plans - Promote emotional regulation, coping strategies, and classroom engagement

COMPENSATION: This is a Fee-for-Service position, paid as a percentage of completed billable services. Non-billable work such as meetings, documentation, and supervision is also compensated. Notes must be completed for services to be released for payment.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be at least 21 years old - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field - Ohio licensure required (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC) - Minimum six months' experience working with children or adolescents - Valid driver's license and auto insurance
