Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Cottonwood, CA. This contract position involves providing specialized speech and language services in a K-8 setting focused solely on students in special education who require behavioral support. Position Details:

* One opening available * Approximately 25 hours per week * Contract duration: August 2026 through June 2027 * Work site: Single location in Cottonwood, CA * Student population: K-8 students placed for behavioral support within special education programs

Responsibilities:

* Deliver individualized speech-language assessments and therapy to students with special needs * Collaborate with educational staff and behavior specialists to develop integrated intervention plans * Maintain required documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines * Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning for students communication and behavioral development

Qualifications:

* Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) * Experience working with school-age children, preferably in special education settings * Knowledge of behavioral support strategies in educational environments * Strong communication and collaborative skills
