About the Employer The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides services and leadership to 20 public school districts and 10 charter schools. SBCEO offers programs and services in support of nearly 70,000 children throughout Santa Barbara County - from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Orcutt, and Santa Maria.
Job Summary Job Summary To coordinate, organize and deliver health care services to students and staff of Direct Service School Districts and programs under the supervision of the Santa Barbara County Education Office.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and Registered Nurse (RN license) with a CA School Nurse credential or willingness to pursue the School Nurse credential; CPR and First Aid Certificate. Experience and/or training appropriate to fulfill requirements of the position. Recent experiences as School Nurse preferred; Registered Nurse experience acceptable.
This is an itinerant 60% position based in the Santa Ynez Valley and will service Ballard, Vista del Mar, and College, requiring flexibility as the role may involve working from multiple locations each day, with a combination of travel. This vacancy is for the 2026-2027 school year.
