WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Team Lead (Shift Supervisor), you'll improve people's days by supervising daily shift activities and supporting a dynamic team of incredible people. You’ll motivate and inspire team members, set the standard for superior service and drink quality, and foster a welcoming environment. Leverage your team’s strengths by assigning the right people to the right tasks at the right times. Lead by example by crafting each cup with care and skill alongside your team of Baristas. Build strong relationships with customers and the local community. Evaluate team performance, focusing on service and drink quality. Ensure team members adhere to their schedules, cover called-out shifts, and receive breaks/lunches. Communicate performance feedback to Store Leaders and other Shift Supervisors to maintain consistency. Support onboarding and training of new hires and promote team development. Assist the Store Leader in executing operational and administrative duties. Implement and uphold Philz safety programs as a key leader. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to: Operate various machines, tools, and equipment Maintain visual acuity for safety and accuracy Remain stationary for at least 3 hours Stand, walk, stoop, and kneel Lift up to 50 pounds intermittently, and lift 3 pounds to shoulder height repeatedly Grasp, use fingers, and reach Communicate verbally The estimated starting hourly rate is $22.55 to $24.55, with participation in a tip pool potentially earning an additional $7.00 per hour.
