The role is a Hunter position focused on sourcing, nurturing, and closing new BairesDev clients primarily from your network and/or industry, with a remit across Consumer (Retail, E-commerce, and Omnichannel) sectors. What You'll Do Hunting Build strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise-level clients across industries, with a primary focus on Retail, E-commerce, and Omnichannel. Originate and nurture business relationships resulting in engagement opportunities. Present BairesDev’s value proposition tailored to the needs of potential clients’ senior executives. Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients. Project Management Scope projects, shape engagements, and help define business solutions that satisfy client needs and achieve desired outcomes. Plan, implement, and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets and goals. Plan resources and mobilize teams (solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery) throughout the complex sales cycle. Understand and mitigate key risks through tactical plans and actions. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Consumer Goods sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives. Strong experience in business development, key account management, or vendor relations within the retail sector. Proven success in sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and Enterprise accounts within retail or consumer markets. Excellent understanding of the Retail industry, including key players, strategies, client structure, business models, sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and trends. Demonstrated strategic, creative, and analytical approach with a focus on initiating and building client relationships. Strong understanding of retail systems, customer data platforms, inventory management, and common retail tech challenges. Ability to deliver compelling presentations tailored to potential clients’ needs. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and detail-oriented, deadline-driven mindset.
