Our client is seeking an experienced professional to become their next Safety Manager for their manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives. Safety Culture Champion: Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement. Regulatory Compliance Expert: Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies. Hazard Assessment Pro: Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place. Training Guru: Conduct OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training. Injury Management Leader: Support Workers Compensation claims management, investigating incidents and recommending preventive measures. Manage third party security company. What You Bring: Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety or related field. Experience: 7 years in Industrial Safety, with 4 years minimum in manufacturing, preferably in consumer goods. Certifications: Strong OSHA (certification a must), ASP or CSP (certifications a plus). Bilingual Spanish is preferred Experience managing a team Experience managing security team (in house or external)
