Job Opportunity

A busy family on the Upper East Side seeks a part-time housekeeper/assistant for their large townhouse. The schedule would be two days per week, preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays, but for the right candidate, the family can be flexible on the exact days. Hours would generally be 11am-6pm with extra hours as needed. The family is looking for a multitasker who can pitch-in with light cleaning, organizing, and overall coordination of the household.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping (family has a deep cleaner)
• Light kitchen cleaning
• Some laundrysheets, towels, etc.
• Ironing
• Calling dry cleaners for pick up and delivery
• Organize cleaning supplies
• Some meal prepping
• Making bed/turn down
• Calling vendors and service companies
• Occasional night-time kitchen help
• Oversee house between December and March when the family travels
• Help with event organization in the Fall

Qualifications

• Flexible
• Can-do-attitude
• Strong communication skills

Requirements

• Legal to work in the US
• Able to work in a home with stairs
• Discreet

Salary and Benefits

$35-$40/Hr.
