The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor is responsible for supporting the nurses providing patient care and ensuring patient health through the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to staff, patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members.
Primary Responsibilities: Double check Medications pulled in the am by the techs, Check E-kit daily, restock as necessary, Maintains Ativan log BID Supports nurses who conduct ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or the client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly Create appropriate nursing assignment based on patient acuity Ensures infusion room treatments are provided as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner Ensure clinic is prepared for quarterly audits Advise prior authorization team of any patients identified by the pharm techs that have no auth in place and ensure nurses call and reschedule patients who will not have auth in place in time for treatment Manage PTO requests and approvals and complete weekly staffing schedule Ensure all staff takes a 30 mins lunch break, provide coverage as needed Initiates emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation and advanced life support protocols Order or ensure infusion room supplies are ordered bi-weekly Provides support in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the staff’s diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights Track daily assignment numbers, treatment holds, reschedules, and no shows Maintains current competency in nursing specialty by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current licensure in good standing in the state of practice, and all other states where license is held Evidence of BLS and all additional required credentials specific to nurse specialty and as designated by health care organization Evidence of 2+ years of nursing experience in specialty within the past 4 years
Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within 6 months of hire (requirement) OCN certification 2+ years of Oncology experience
Skills/Abilities: Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment Experience hanging chemo, pre-meds and IV treatments Expert in Vascular Access, patient assessment, chemo regimens and understanding of safe patient parameters for receipt of treatment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
