Paint Coatings company in Portland has an opening for 2 Retail Warehouse Associates at their small warehouse and retail storefront. Call us at (503) 581-1748 Duties and Responsibilities for Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver: Support the sales efforts at a commercial paint store through warehousing, shipping & receiving, stocking and facing retail shelves, answering phones and deliveries to local customers. Provide customer service to retail & contractor accounts/customers Pack, unpack and stock product in warehouse & retail storefront displays. Receive and count stock items and record data in system Pull product, package and ship per invoice Learn to tint colors and match architectural and industrial paint Input orders into (POS) system, completing order accurately Provide in-person and telephone technical support on products Operate material handling equipment as needed, including but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack and/or hand truck--will train & certify Skills and Qualifications for Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver: Must have Valid driver’s license and able to drive a small sized box truck Must have basic computer skills Previous warehouse, customer service and/or retail experience preferred but not required Must be able to retrieve products from shelves & lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to obtain hazmat handling & forklift certifications Excellent Customer Service and ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone is a must. HS diploma or GED Attention to detail & able to follow verbal, written directions Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop throughout 8hr shift Job Details for Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver: Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm Pay rate: $20.00/hr Temp to Permanent opportunity after 90 days with great company benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision: Company pays 80% for for employee and 65% for family, Vacation & Holiday Pay, 401k #STSAL
