Your responsibilities will include: Assisting customers in selecting the perfect items for their pets, whether it's a new toy or nutritious food. Educating pet owners on product ingredients and comparing options to meet their pets' needs. Helping fit pets with appropriate gear like harnesses or collars. Providing care for the animals in-store, keeping their habitats clean and ensuring they are well-fed. Stocking shelves and accurately processing transactions at the register. As a Retail Team Member, you may specialize in: Cashier: Processing customer purchases efficiently and promoting our Preferred Pet Club membership. Stocker: Safely unloading deliveries and ensuring shelves are fully stocked. Animal Care: Providing hands-on care for the pets in-store and answering customer inquiries related to animal care. Keep in mind that this role can be physically demanding, requiring lifting weights ranging from 40-65 lbs and standing for extended periods. We encourage growth and learning through our Pet Degree training programs. Ideal candidates will: Be supportive teammates, stepping in to assist when needed. Possess strong knowledge of animals and our product offerings. Be flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
