You will ensure that customers receive friendly and efficient service while helping them navigate our vast selection of products, ultimately contributing to their satisfaction and our store’s success. Available Positions: Outdoor Enthusiast Apparel Sales Associate Fishing and Hunting Sales Associate Footwear Sales Associate Sports Sales Associate Cashier Specialist Roles: Asset Protection Team Member Custodian Inventory Control Team Member Merchandising Team Member Receiving Team Member Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice preferred for Asset Protection Team Member. Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment preferred. For Cashier: Experience with POS equipment and customer service. For Outdoor Enthusiast: 4+ years of personal experience with outdoor hobbies such as fishing and hunting preferred. Certifications such as CPR and First Responder are a plus for Asset Protection Team Member. Background in Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice is advantageous for Asset Protection Team Member. Skills Required: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to connect and engage with customers, building rapport. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret safety rules and operational procedures. Basic mathematical abilities for handling transactions. For Cashier: Experience with operating POS systems and written correspondence. Outdoor Enthusiast: Knowledge and passion for outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and camping. Must meet legal requirements for selling firearms (specific to Fishing and Hunting Sales Associate). Responsibilities: Refer to position specifics for detailed responsibilities. Physical Requirements: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Good hearing and vision to perform job duties. Adherence to company policies and procedures. Frequent walking, reaching, and communication with team members and customers. Occasional stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Consistent standing and hand use in a service environment.
